EUROPEAN "VIRTUAL WORLD" PARTNERSHIP
In July 2023, the European Commission published a list of 10 candidate partnerships to be launched as part of Horizon Europe, one of them "Virtual Worlds".
Following that announcement, the EuroXR Association activated its members and its network at European and national levels, which resulted in strong supporting letters for the partnership on Virtual Worlds. We managed to secure support of the national governments in France, Germany and Italy. We are expecting the final decision during the next meeting of the European Council.
